In high school,
Alien scared me
The Shining scared me to death. "See, it's OK... He saw it on the television." Still gives me the heebie-jeebies.
as a teenager i read the following books in school that i feel had a profound effect on me and my character building.
a man for all seasons by robert bolt (a play) .
to kill a mockingbird by harper lee.

a lot!!!
i have done my share of sleeping at conventions with the elbow in the side, same ol same ol.
you would know which scripture was coming before they ever said it.
As much as absolutely possible.
I did make out with this chick in her dad's van once in Dallas when I was a teen-ager. It was a sweet van with carpet and velour or whatever that soft fabric on the walls was. We were supposed to be picking up trash. Oh, she was trashy alright... wait, so was I. D'oh!
i carried my wife and her sister out shopping.
i was about 35 miles from home and it was raining.
i dropped them off at the door of the store and parked the car so they wouldn't get wet.
The lord works in mysterious ways! Praise Jah!
Good thinking, I'll have to remember that as I believe we have "smart" keys too.
i usually tell them i'm da.i tend to feel like it's my way of respecting their belief that way.when i was a dub i wouldn't have wanted to talk to a df or da ed person.i was at a family wedding a couple of weeks ago and lots of people came up and said hi to me.people who know who i am and know i'm da ed.i was polite and said hi back but i didn't really talk to anyone unless they talked to me first.i'm asking this question because my second cousin came up to me and said hi.he asked how i was doing i said i'm great.then i told him i'm da ed.he said really i said yes it's been 8 happy years since i left.then i walked away.i think i was rude.what do you say when people come up to you and say hi?
?
I too am neither da'd or df'd, but I guess I'm inactive. I'm as positive as I can be about the world in which we live. They always have some sad news and how they hope for the new sesstem. Yeah, but what are you doing today? I ask. They don't like that.
I don't think I'd ever intentionally be rude. What's the point? They're already living in their own private, little hell. How painful is that? Yuck!
along with the economy topic this morning, i thought this was very ineresting,.
illeagan alians were arrested (about 1,400) from a meet packing company (several states).
americans are lining up for the jobs.
Has anyone verified that these actually were minimum-wage workers? I grew up in construction and didn't know many/any illegals that worked for minimum wage.
Doesn't welfare make you go to a couple of job fairs or submit a couple of applications a week? This would be right up some slacker's alley. Get an interview, an application... off for another week!
it was great!
i can't seem to copy and paste a picture in a microsoft word document to my auction description.
the words appear, but the pictures don't.
(they are pictures from the internet i have previously copy and paste).
Have you tried to paste into Notepad first? That will usually get rid of all the formatting. You can then format in eBay.
You should be able to click on Start/All Programs/Accessories/Notepad
well i attended the company xmas party this last weekend and it was damn good, loads of fun and good people.
if jws find out and i get disfellowshipped, tough shit.
GBL,
That's funny, though, maybe it was a bad stomach virus. Ha! That sounds like a great story to make this week around the office rather interesting. ...at least she didn't puke while taking off some article of clothing.
it`s time for a drinking thread!
!..bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!..when you want to celebrate, what is your favorite alchohol beverage?..i mean the one you normally woudn`t buy,but you will on a very special occassion.....18year old highland park scotch for me.....whats your favorite special occassion drink?
...outlaw
Mead? Where might one, myself, get mead?
Certainly not to offend anyone but my favorite drink is an Irish Car Bomb: 3/4 Pt Guinness. Put equal parts Jameson and Bailey's Irish Cream in a shot glass. Drop in the shotglass and knock it down quick or the cream "curdles" and you get a mouthful of cottage cheese. Wow! Knock out two of 'em if you go to a rock show and you'll be ready!
what is rated the best??
what do you like?
I drive a Ford F250 because I haul stuff. It's big and I love it. Go BioDiesel!
As far as holding its value (an investment), safety and purely fun to drive. We think BMWs rule. We've had 3 since '96; currently own an X5. They are expensive for upkeep but they really do last forever. I haven't seen many Chevys that have 200K miles and run like they did the day they were built, thus the resale.
